Saint Gabriel has a rich, vibrant music program that highlights several different groups who support our Anglican Liturgy with an eclectic mix of music from both classical and modern composers. We believe that offering many styles of music broadens our appeal, and that all music and art created with God at its center is good. We invite you to look over our many groups and hope you will consider joining us as we make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
Adult Choir
The Saint Gabriel Adult Choir provides musical leadership and performs anthems of all types on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 am worship service. During the school year, the anthems are presented on a regular basis and on an irregular schedule during the summer. The choir also sings at special services during the year (Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Holy Week), plus the choir leads the presentation of the Episcopal Service of Lessons and Carols during Advent. Occasionally, other musical events are offered to the community. Membership is open to anyone desiring to sing in a mixed choir. Regular attendance is encouraged. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm during the school year in the St. Cecilia Room.

Children’s Choir
The Saint Gabriel Children’s Choir provides the foundation of musical training and performs special music on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 am worship service. During the school year, the offerings are presented on an occasional basis. The choir also sings at special services during the year (Christmas Eve and Holy Week). Membership is open to all K – 8 students. Regular attendance is encouraged but not required.
Rehearsals are Sunday mornings 11:45 am – 12:30 pm during the school year in the Choir Loft.

Archangel Consort
The Archangel Consort is a group of members and friends of St. Gabriel that offer instrumental support to enhance music and liturgy. The group holds ad hoc rehearsals at various times of the year to prepare for Advent, Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, Easter and other occasions when we need instrumental or orchestral support. We encourage our students to participate and enjoy the experience of performing with an inter-generational group of talented musicians.

Concert Series & Special Events
The Saint Gabriel Concert Series is an outreach project which provides rehearsal and performance space for collegiate groups, community choirs and artists, and provides top-quality entertainment to the southwest Denver Metro Community. Each concert is free of charge. Additionally, we host an Advent Service of Lessons and Carols during the Advent season. Upcoming events will be posted as they are scheduled.
